Orah's Clothing is a small, Lusaka-based pre-loved clothing business. This page explains what information we collect through orahsclothing.store, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Data Protection Act, 2021 of Zambia.

What we collect and why
- When you place an order: the pieces in your bag, and the name, phone number, delivery area, payment method and note you choose to give. We use these only to confirm, prepare and deliver your order. Your order is sent to us on WhatsApp and kept in our private order list.
- If you create an account (optional): your email address, password (stored encrypted, we can never see it), name, phone and usual delivery area, plus your favourites and order history.
- Anonymous statistics (only if you allow them): that a visit happened, which pieces were viewed, whether you came from Instagram, WhatsApp or elsewhere, and whether you're on a phone or computer. We do not record names, phone numbers, IP addresses or locations for this.
We never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Cookies and similar storage
This website uses your browser's storage (similar to cookies) rather than advertising cookies. You choose which kinds you allow when you first visit, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings.

Who else handles your information
We use a small number of trusted service providers to host this website, store our product list, orders and accounts securely, and deliver your messages to us. They handle your information only to provide those services to us, under their own security and privacy commitments. Some of them store data outside Zambia, with appropriate safeguards in place. WhatsApp carries any order message you choose to send us.

How long we keep it
Order details are kept for up to 2 years for our records and exchanges, then deleted. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Anonymous statistics are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll respond within 7 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can contact the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Zambia.
Keeping it safe
The website uses encrypted connections (https), passwords are stored encrypted, and only the shop owners can see orders and accounts.
